Change of Address

All bond owners must ensure that their correct address is on file with the Bank of Canada. Please notify us of any change in your mailing address as soon as possible.

For your protection, incomplete forms or forms with incorrect information will be rejected.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST - Certificated Bond Owners and Payroll Savings Plan Owners

1. Complete the Change of Address and Direct Deposit Form and Guidelines (COADD)
2. Once fully completed, please fax or mail the form to Payroll Customer Service or Customer Service for Certificated Bonds depending on your type of bond.

Alternatively, you can call the Payroll Customer Service or Customer Service for Certificated Bonds to report your change of address. Please have the following information (where applicable) available when calling in order to ensure your transaction is processed:

• Name(s) appearing on the bonds/plans
• Payroll Savings Plan Number
  • Your 10 digit Plan Number can be found on your statement or by accessing www.mybonds.gc.ca
• Payroll Savings Plan contribution amount
  • Located on your annual statement
• Certificated Bonds Registration Account Number
  • Can be found on your statement/T5
• Bond Serial Numbers
  • Located on the top center of your certificate (e.g., CS101F1234567J)
• Previous Address and Telephone Number
  • If you are unsure of which previous address we have on file, please have all your previous mailing addresses since our last correspondence handy.
• New Address and Telephone Number

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST - Registered Product Owners (The Canada RSP or The Canada RIF Owners)

1. Complete the RRSP/RRIF - Change of Address and Direct Deposit Form and Guidelines (COADDRP)
2. Fax or mail the completed form to Customer Service for Registered Owners.

Alternatively, you can call Customer Service for Registered Bonds to report your change of address. Please have the following information available when calling in order to ensure your transaction is processed:

• Name(s) appearing on bonds/plans
• The Canada RSP or The Canada RIF plan Number
  • Located on your statement and can be up to 11 digits.
• Previous Address and Telephone Number
  • If you are unsure of which previous address we have on file, please have all your previous mailing addresses since our last correspondence handy.
